描述Concanavalin A (Con A) is one of the most widely used lectins in cell biology. Our tetramethylrhodamine conjugate of Con A exhibits the bright, orange-red fluorescence of tetramethylrhodamine (absorption/emission maxima ~555/580 nm). Tetramethylrhodamine Con A selectively binds to α-mannopyranosyl and α-glucopyranosyl residues.
